Books
discuss/discover

Books come along the path and if we're searching for some answers, perhaps they offer them just at that "right" time. Happens frequently. These are some I've enjoyed or been inspired by.

The Millionaire Course (Allen)
Don't let the title fool you! This book is far more about shifting your thoughts and beliefs than it has to do with money. Marc created a volume of invaluable wisdom within the covers of this book.

The Daughters of Joy (Chopra)

The Way of the Wizard (Chopra)

The Pilgrimage (Coelho)

The Alchemist (Coelho)
My sister gave me this book, and it sat on my bookshelf for almost two years before I picked it up and read through it. Since then, I've read almost every book Paulo Coelho has written. Follow your dreams.

The Zahir (Coelho)

Gene Roddenberry: The Last Conversation (Fern)

Lucky Man: A Memoir (Fox)

You Can Heal Your Life (Hay)
Useful tools in the thought-shifting process. Realize the power of your mind, and also what you've been using it for all along...

Way of the Peaceful Warrior (Millman)

Sacred Journey of the Peaceful Warrior (Millman)

The Journeys of Socrates (Millman)

The Four Agreements (Ruiz)
There are many agreements we make with ourselves in a lifetime. Most often, we're quite unaware of them. What it all comes down to, however, is four simple, but powerful agreements. Don Miguel Ruiz outlines them poetically in this book.

DailyOM: Inspirational Thoughts for a Happy, Healthy, and Fulfilling Day (Taylor)
"...the first book by DailyOM co-founder Madisyn Taylor. A companion to the popular DailyOM Website, this book is a valuable guide that will enable you to find balance and wellness through conscious awareness. The gentle and affirming wisdom contained within these pages is intended to make each of your days a little happier, less stressful, and more satisfying."

I quite enjoy most all the DailyOM thoughts and lessons. If you enjoy them, this is the book you're looking for.

The Power of Now (Tolle)
This is one of those revolutionary books that comes along in a generation, complementing a societal need to understand more about who and what they are. "Now" is a powerful book, but it may not speak to you. At least not right now. Regardless, there are important lessons anyone can learn from this book.

A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose (Tolle)
This is the follow up to his "The Power of Now" book. Essentially, it takes everything to a new level, expanding on what "Now" established.

Also, you'll find a free web-class series at Oprah.com with Eckhart and Oprah's in-depth discussion of each chapter if this book.

Conversations with God (Walsch)
The strongest feeling or thought I can recall when first reading through the first 3 books in Neale's series, was "it's like I've known these things all along..." If you can get into the duality of this unique conversation, it may just blow your mind. If not, at least it'll raise questions, inspire hope, or challenge you to grow.
